Methi Puri – Crunchy Fenugreek Puris for Tea-Time

A jar staple in many Gujarati homes, methi puri is a crisp, kadak puri made from refined and whole wheat flour with methi leaves. Turmeric, black pepper and a little red chilli balance the gentle bitterness of fenugreek, and each puri is rolled thin and fried until crunchy.

Have a few with tea, mango chutney or pickle, or set them out as part of a Gujarati farsan spread. Compact and mess-free, they are a practical snack for travel and office drawers.
