Mysore Paak – Porous Ghee Sweet with Cardamom

This is the classic porous Mysore paak, different from our soft South Mysore Paak. Gram flour is cooked with a generous amount of ghee and sugar until it turns light and full of tiny holes. A hint of cardamom and a few almonds finish it.

It melts quickly on the tongue, so serve small pieces after a meal or with tea. It is a welcome sweet for Diwali, pujas and housewarming visits.
