Motichoor Laddu – Fine Boondi Laddu Made with Ghee

Motichoor means crushed pearls, a nod to the very fine boondi inside each laddu. Gram flour batter is fried as tiny pearls, soaked in cardamom-scented sugar syrup and pressed into soft, round laddus. Each one is made with ghee and has bits of cashew for a little crunch.

A favourite for Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali and Holi, it is also shared at weddings, pujas and family celebrations. Its soft, moist bite appeals to children and grown-ups alike.
