Bundi Laddu is made from gram flour batter dropped into hot ghee as tiny boondi pearls. The boondi is bound with sugar syrup, mixed with cashew bits and a touch of saffron, and shaped into round laddus.

It is a temple and festival favourite, offered at Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali and pujas, and shared at weddings and family celebrations. Its gentle sweetness makes it easy to share with guests of every age.
