Methi Thepla – Soft Spiced Gujarati Flatbread

Thepla is a much-loved Gujarati flatbread, and this one is made from whole wheat flour with a little bajra (pearl millet) flour. Green chilli, ginger, sesame seeds, ajwain, cumin, turmeric and red chilli flavour the dough, while a touch of sugar adds a gentle sweet balance. Each one is cooked on a tawa until soft.
